Picture this. You have gone on a vacation and are returning to your office, with a brief anxiety on your mind, as to how you will be able to check the hundreds of e-mails that are piled up in your e-mail client. Don’t get nervous about sorting through the heaps of mails, as the best thing that you can do is have separate e-mail clients. Have you ever tried this option of actually dividing your e-mails clients into two? Well you can have one e-mail client that just receives the e-mails and the other that will enable you to only send messages.
This strategy should certainly do wonders for you in terms of managing your work productivity. By having a send-only e-mail client you will only need to reply to the ones that are urgent or actually need to be sent i.e. avoid spam.
You can use a second e-mail client like MailSmith to set up a separate account that will only send e-mails. Unlike other e-mail clients MailSmith also has a send-only feature that allows you to just send e-mails and not receive any. This means that you can view the received e-mails in other e-mail clients like Microsoft Outlook. Once you know which the mails that you should reply to are, you can use MailSmith.
In order to configure the send-only option in MailSmith, select ‘Account’ in the ‘Menu’. Do not enter any values in the ‘Checking’ tab. Select the ‘Sending’ tab in order to just send emails.
