Filled archive file
Microsoft Outlook archiving will not be possible if the archive file is full. For Microsoft Outlook 2003, the default size of archive file is 20 MB so when the limit is reached, you can solve the issue by either deleting the items or by creating a new archive file. Creating a new archive file is preferred so that you can backup all important dates.
Microsoft Outlook 2003 cannot archive your mailbox beyond the maximum limit set by the mail administrator. If your mailbox is full, and you try to send a mail, you will receive an error statement indicating that your mailbox is full. But in case of archive, you will not receive any message and it will not work either. To make the archive work, you can either delete or move some items to archive file or you need to ask the mail administrator to increase the size of your mailbox.
