To enable ‘Folder List’ view, select the small folder icon which is present below the Mail, Calendar shortcuts. After switch to Folder View, select ‘Go’ menu and click on ‘Folder List’. Click on the ‘Navigation Pane’ and click on ‘Public Folder’ at the bottom of the ‘Folder List’. Then select the folder you want to view by double clicking on it.
Creating a new folder
In order to create a new public folder, select the ‘Folder List’ from the ‘Go’ menu. Now a folder called ‘C2PublicFolders’ will appear on the folder list. This tree of folder contains different public folders shared by the network users. We can create a new folder by right clicking on ‘C2PublicFolders’. Then click on ‘New Folder’ option. Now a dialogue box ‘Create New Folder’ will be displayed and follow the prompts to configure the public folder properly.
We can enter the name and type of the newly created public folder in the ‘Create New Folder’ dialogue box. You have to place the new folder under ‘C2PublicFolders’ in the ‘Select where to place the folder list’. We can also create new item to the existing folder and they will available to other network users in the ‘C2PublicFolders’. We can also configure the public folder to hold default contact list.
