Save a received message as a file

Save messages as plain text

For saving e-mail messages within the Outlook 2007 you need to select Save As from the Office button of the application. Then make sure that Text only format is selected under the Save as type. Type the desired file name or accept the suggested name and save to a desired location.
The e-mail templates are used for sending messages that include information that does not change from message to message. In Outlook 2007, you can compose and save messages as a template. For that process, click on 'New' from the File menu and Click 'Mail Messages'. You need to enter the contents in the message body and click on 'Office' button, then click 'Save As'.
