Then rename the folder consisting the old data files. Right-click on the folder in the Navigation Pane. After that press 'Properties', then choose 'Advanced'. Then vary the name in the text box to the one you like. Then press 'Ok' twice.

Then choose the 'E-mail' tab and choose the new e-mail account and press 'Change Folder'. In the 'New E-Mail Delivery Location' box, choose the Inbox of the .PST file. Then select 'Finish', then exit and reboot Microsoft Outlook. Then take away the empty 'Personal Folders' file Microsoft Outlook created during the set-up process. Afterward, right-click the file and select 'Close Personal Folders'. Now you can remove the redundant folder from the Navigation Pane.
