Tips to turn off AutoArchive in Microsoft® Outlook 2007

Prevent archive on all folders
To turn off AutoArchive on all folders you have to go to Tools menu, and click Options, then click the ‘Other’ tab. And you can turn off all folders including individual folders. After performing the above steps, click AutoArchive and clear the ‘Run Auto Archive every days’ check box. That particular feature will be turned off. You can restart the computer and check whether the settings are working properly.
Prevent archive on one folder
You can also prevent archiving in any particular folder. For doing that, go through the following steps. On the Go menu, there will be an option named Folder List; select and right-click the folder you want to prevent AutoArchive, and then click Properties in the shortcut menu. Then click the AutoArchive tab there and choose Do not archives items in this folder option.
Turn off AutoArchive
You can also turn off entire AutoArchive in MS Outlook 2007. For that, you need to go to the status bar of MS Outlook 2007. In the lower-right corner of the status bar very next to the Archiving folder message select the dropdown arrow and from there you can choose Cancel Archiving. After performing the above steps reboot your computer and check whether the feature is turned off properly or not.
